My inlaws have a Samsung 940B monitor that keeps switching from analog mode to digital mode. It's connected with a DVI cable and worked for a few weeks. They live 2hours away so I haven't looked at it, nor do I have an LCD monitor so I can't test anything here. I had them hit the mode button to manually switch modes but it just flips back and forth.
I was thinking of sending an analog to DVI adapter and have them connect the analog cable to test, is that even worth doing? Could it be a cable, the monitor, or did they nuke their video card.
