Sorry if this is the wrong forum.
I have a Westinghouse 24" monitor L2410NM, and I'm connected to a ATI HD5850 video card by VGA to DVI using an adapter, and running Windows 7 64-bit. The monitor has HDMI, but thats used for a PS3.
My problems is since I got the a new computer with new the video card. My Monitor has been having problems with the Phase controls, The picture gets shakey with wavey horizontal lines. Sometimes its perfect, sometimes its barely noticible, and others its obvious.
I've tried both auto and manually adjusting the Phase in the Monitor's OSD. The times when I'm able to fix it, the Monitor will start to have the problem agian after an hour or so, or if I restart the computer.
My video card is locked at 60hz with 1920x1200 resolution, and the monitor does support the resolution and frequency natively.
I didn't have this problem with my previous computer, which had an ATI Radeon X850 connected by VGA with Windows XP, so I figure its either a problem with DVI to VGA adapter connection, the Video Card or something in Windows 7.
Any ideas?
