I have this new rig
AMD 64 3500 939nm 90nm
MSI Platinum Neo4 SLI
1gb Patriot XBLK PC3200
BFG geforce 6800gt PCI-E
74gb Raptor 10kRPM drive
Plextor PX-716A DVD/RW drive
and just got a 520W PSU from OCZ pretty sweet
Ok, i had this system running on about 50C normally and loads at maybe 60C i dont remember, but the thing is that whenever i started any gaming or benchmarking related to video, the computer monitor would go into standby. This is after all the loading is done. I tryed a lot of things and nothing worked out so i RMA'd the card.
One thing that was bothering is that my mobo uses a 24pin ATX connection and my older PSU which was of 430W, didnt have this so i went and bought this new 520W PSU from OCZ which is pretty sweet, and i did it because a lot of people were telling me to get another PSU, do u guys think my computer was crashing because of this????
My card arrives this week, i just want to know opinions.
This happened everytime, i even reinstalled windows a couple of times and even made an install in which i could change the IRQ for the video card. This didnt work either.
Any help would be greatly appraciated.
