Hi,

I have a ps3 and a wii and investigating what display device I would get
for them (and I would love of course to work on that device with my computer).

I am thinking of getting the BenQ FP241W but I have a couple of concerns:
- What is the quality of displaying 480i/p signal in this monitor???
I had for a month a borrowed Apple 23'' display and a
Gefen VGA2DVI/Component2DVI scaler with "supported" 480i/p and 720i/p.
When connecting the ps3 in 720 mode the picture quality and the scaling
looked great but when using a ps2 and 480i/p the picture looked almost blurry.
Same for the wii. After experimenting I discovered that the problem has to
do with scaling the input signal to the 1920 x 1200 resolution of the monitor.
(Unfortunately the monitor did not supported any other resolution that the
gefen scaler provided)

- So does it worth to get a monitor for using it for 480i/p content in addition to the
HD one?
- Or should I consider looking into a TV set?

Thanks in advance for your advice
