Monitor for an Xbox360

I want to get a monitor to run my xbox 360 through, and i would also like to use it as a second monitor on my pc. here are some monitors that caught my eye:

my question is, which one is better? Will 1440x900 widescreen look good or will it be streched? If these are crap then suggest a better monitor for me. i would like to keep it around 200 if possible

You definitely want a widescreen monitor for the 360. Otherwise you'll get black bars or massive amounts of stretching. I recommend the LG L204WT at Circuit City. It has a $30 mail-in rebate now and there's also a $40 off $200 coupon for Circuit City. There will be some minor stretching since the 16:9 Xbox 360 output is converted into 16:10. It's not really noticeable, though.

i was under the impression after reading this that 1280x1024 would look just fine. Thats what i was shooting for because desk space is tight and a 19in 4:3 would fit much better than a 20in 16:10

Widescreen all the way for the 360. Get the second monitor. Acer is a pretty good budget brand IMO

I deffinetly noticed an altered picture on my 19" 4:3. I got used to it but now got the Westinghouse 22" for 200 bucks and R6:Las Vegas looks amazing.

what exactly do you mean by "altered"? squished? smaller view?

Dell 20.1" Widescreen monitors have aspect options so it won't stretch your 16:9 video to 16:10. It has 1:1, aspect, and fill modes.
