Hi, I have a dual lcd display, and the right side monitor on it is a 20 inch viewsonic LCD (VP201mb) that's about 6.5 yrs old. Everything was fine with this lcd until about a week ago; now I see a streak of discoloration down the left side (about a third of the way from the edge). It doesnt go all the way to the top or bottom, its about the length of my index finger, and you cant really see it if the background is white, but any other color and yes, you can see it, as a streak thats a bit darker than the background. I see a second much smaller streak just to the left of that, and a bit lower. Both of the streaks are vertical. Whats going on here and is there anything I can do about it? My other monitor doesnt have the streaks, and I was wondering if it could be a video card issue, a driver issue, or is the monitor dying? I still have NVidia 182 forceware, so I havent updated my video drivers in a few months.
