monitor elevator

hi, my LCD monitor is too low on the desk, and right now i am using a thick book and putting the monitor ontop to elevate it. the thing is, it doesn't look very good

i was wondering if anyone has any idea of something cool that i could put under the monitor to elevate it (i don't have an HTPC system). like some of those futuristic light boxes...whatever i dunno. just something cool i could put under the monitor to make it higher. thx

Why not just put it on an arm?

If you have the money I'd put it on one of those arms. Then you can move it around hwerever you want it. Those things are really cool in my oppinion.

i donno if it counts as cool but you could get one of those surge protectors that are designed to be placed under monitors.

I don't know though that's not very big.. not more than 2 inches. unless that's really all he needs.. in which case I would have to ask why raise it at all.
