My monitor is experiencing some strange difficulties. I have a CTX 19" monitor, winXP pro on this machine. the monitor is going to power save mode after about 1 minute. The power settings say 20 minutes. Why? what can I do about it?

apic is off - is that what's causing this? how can I re-enable it? i've seen things on how to turn it off but not back on.
