Hi,
I just got a new computer, but im using my old monitor from my emachine. It's 6 years old, but the picture is fine and i can usually go up to higher resolutions. Even though Windows recognized the monitor as a plug and play on my new comp, I have heard that if driver is not installed it will do that anyway. I know that it needs a driver because the resolution can only go up to 1024 by 768, it usually will go up much higher then that. Also i cannot adjust the refresh rate higher then 60 hertz and i usually can.

The monitor is an emachine 15 inch model.
I'm not sure the exact model number(all the monitor says on it is emachine).

My Specs
Windows XP Home
AMD64 3400+
1 gb of DDR PC3200 ram
K8V Deluxe Mobo
Geforece Fx 5200
