My monitor is dieing the ccfl's are going and cant find replacement bulbs.
(20 inch 1650x1050)
The Manufacturer doesn't know what kind of bulbs they are so that makes it impossible to replace.

I have been looking for the last couple months before my monitor actually dies Ive been looking at several monitors but been hard making a decision.

view sonic vp2770-led Seems the best between the two but never goes on sale 750$ +

Dell U2713HM Is on sale now for 550.98$ with Shipping and Handling

I was waiting for the vp2770 to go down in price but has not for some time and it seems like the best choice between most of the 2560x1440 27inch monitors but the price bothers me.

The Dell U2713HM is on sale right now but Ive read tons of reviews and comments on how many problems their are with it back light bleed and yellow tint on some.

Should I bite the bullet or wait and go with the vp2770 if it ever goes down in price.

Note: AG coating doesn't bother me but after looking at screens in person for the last 5 months I can say that the anti-glare coating on my current monitor is horrible. SO the dell would be a great upgrade on that aspect.

The Dell you mention has the light AG coating, so wouldn't be any problem.

At 27" you have some of the cheaper Catleap etc screens, the Dell, the Viewsonic, Asus and the Samsung.

I am pretty sure you would be happy with any of them!

The Viewsonic is regarded as being the best of the bunch, just that it costs more. I personally like my Asus very much :)
