Monitor choices for triple screens

Looking to jump into eyefinity, but having a little trouble on deciding which route to take.

I currently have a Hazro 27" 2560x1440 screen that in my view, has no real downsides.

I'm trying to figure out which size screens to go for so that i don't feel like i've lost too much. I guess the main thing that worries me is losing vertical space, not so much in pixel count (i think i can live with less pixels vertically) but in actual physical vertical size.

So far, it looks like the Dell U2412m's are ideal. Screen size (using this site) is H 32.3cm, and the hazro is H 33.6 cm. Seriously, these 27" screens are not much bigger than 16:10 24".

So in this regard it looks good. But I'm trying to see if i can cut the cost here, that is the key to why i am posting.

Are there any IPS 24-inch screens in 16:9 format? I'm worried the 23" screens lose too much height.

Here's a chart of vertical height for the most common displays, you can see why i am worried when you look at an old 22" 16:10 screen height!

27" 16:9 = 33.6
24" 16:10 = 32.3
24" 16:9 = 29.9
23" 16:9 = 28.6
22" 16:10 = 29.6

So for me it's a very diffcult choice to save money by going with 3x23" Dell U2312HM's as they offer a hell of a lot less size over the U2412m.

Any thoughts?

Who has a 3x23" setup and thinks it's fine height wise?

I must admit - my 27 - 1920x1080 is not what I would prefer - - my 24' 1920x1200 at work 'seems' the same size - so I can appreciate the vertical concerns...

Why not put the monitors in portrait mode? And keep your Hazro for when you want to view videos etc?

dot pitch will be wildly different, i assume eyefinity would look pretty poor because of this

I don't follow you. Quite a few people here use 3 monitors in portrait format. I'm talking about having 3 1080p monitors in portrait format plus his existing 1440p monitor in landscape format. For Eyefinity gaming he uses the 3 portrait moitors and for watching videos he uses the Hazro 1440p in landscape.
