I've got a Dell 2405 and a 2005 and unfortunately with the old stand style they take up alot of extra desk space...

I don't even know where to begin looking, however I've seen lots of monitor arms/stands/brackets whatever around here and I'd like to get one assuming the price isn't something obscene.

Any comments or recommendations would be appreciated, and also ideally I'd like this to work with most major brands (assuming they have a uniform design) for when I upgrade/replace the screens in a few years.

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for the link!

How are those tiny bases for digging into desks? With the weight of two screens I can see that doing some serious damage...

I ordered the Dual LX series one you linked to through buy.com for a great price this past summer. I do like it a lot, I have 2x dell 20.1" screens on it and its very sturdy. no hint of digging into my desk

That's the thread I was looking for! Thanks.

Also, these things are only rated for up to 22" screens, think my 24 would be OK?

2405 =

Weight

Monitor (Stand and Head)

10.0 kg (22.1 lb)

Monitor Flat panel only (VESA Mode)

7.0 kg (15.4 lb)

Looks like it should be good :)

Thanks very much for the info guys.
