Monitor almost dead?

Hola all,


I have a 19" DCL LCD Monitor, and the screen has started going pinkish-red I can still see everything on the screen but it is tinted in this pink-red color...is the monitor dieing? I tried my old CRT monitor and it worked fine with no tinting at all.


My specs:

Asrock 939 dual sata-2 mobo
amd 64 3000+ cpu
X1800gto graphics card
pqi 1 gb ram ddr400
seagate 400 gig hd
Rosewill 550 psu

Sure it's plugged in right? Check for broken pins etc. Try it on another computer to make sure it's not the graphics card.
 
If your useing a VGA cable, try a different one. Maybe also for a DVI cable, but I don't know.
 
Well, I just put my old ati 9600 graphics card back in and so far no pink tint on the monitor....so far it looks as though my ati x1800gto pci-e was the cause :(
