I have a MSI RX600 XT PCIE 128 MB video card. I just upfdated the driver for it and downloaded ATI Catalyst Control Center 7.2. Now when I bootup the msg "Cannot load file or assembly ‘MOM.Implementation, Version=2.0.2789.37294, Culture=Neutral, PublicKeyToken=90ba9c70f846762e'’or one of its file dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified." appears and I have to close it to continue. Also when I try to load the ATI Catalyst Control Center the same message appears and will not let me load the Control Center. Anyone have any ideas for a fix?

i would uninstall and re-install the catalyst cc

i had it happen on me to when my CCC install messed up (missed a net1.x module)..

make sur eyou do an uninstall first, or else the installer will not re-install the needed part

Try renaming MOM to MOM.old. I tried it and it worked, but I uninstalled CCC because it gave me this shit without even running for the first time, and it pissed me off.

I believe this is a dot.net framework error... I had a similar error "MOM.exe", and it turned out because I hadn't updated my .net framework..

well, I had the .net beta and it didnt work for me. CCC wouldnt even start up. I just gave up for now. Don't think I really need CCC for anything special, or do I?

I had this same problem with an XP build and an X600. I totally uninstalled the .net framework, uninstalled the drivers, use the NON-BETA .net framework (2.0 build, as recommended) and then reinstalled the drivers. PITA, but it worked. Needless to say, I'm not a huge fan of the CCC. It doesn't seem to work well under all versions of the .net framework in that particular set of catalyst drivers (and 7.3 or 7.4). I don't know if it has improved with later sets, but that is what I did to get 7.2 working.

Uninstalled CCC and ATI driver then installed correct driver that I had downloaded and saved to desktop. This cleared up the problem. Did not reinstall CCC, wonder if it is needed? Also am having a problem running Call of Duty & Call of Duty 2, they will intermittently lock up and picture disappears but can hear sound. Any suggestions as to cause and possible cure, think it is probably my graphic card.

your mom gave me an implementation error....

anyway i got the same issue... like everyone said uninstall CCC and also make sure yout .net framework is updated once you .net framework is updated reinstall CCC and it should work fine

i got the error because i installed the drivers before the .net framework when i reformated my computer

if you dont use CCC you can turn it off in msconfig from opening on start up... but thats not really fixing the issue thats just hiding it
