I put in my 9600XT into this computer. I went in to change the refresh rate and such for this computer and it goes to power management and shuts off on me.

(13:51:09) (kayjay`A-ob-s-) moniter says
(13:51:14) (kayjay`A-ob-s-) HF 80khz
(13:51:21) (kayjay`A-ob-s-) VF 75 Hz
(13:51:41) (kayjay`A-ob-s-) Then operationg frequency
(13:51:47) (kayjay`A-ob-s-) and says power management
(13:52:07) (kayjay`A-ob-s-) and then gives a time, once it reaches 0 from 15 seconds it goes to standby mode
(13:52:08) (kayjay`A-ob-s-) help

How can I go back to the default settings?

Ok in safe mode, where do I go to reinstall my moniter drivers? I did not see any in the device manager to reinstall... help

I just use a Gateway plug and play moniter. I'm not sure if there are any drivers installed for this. I don't see it in the device manager...

still, if you tell windows to redo the generic drivers, it will reset defaults. also, you can try to uninstall the video card drivers

on another note, a particular gateway mobo i had gave me a really hard time with alot of video cards, and it would work fine until the drivers were intitalized. like it would load up windows and give me the spash screen, but when it got to the point in windows when it loads up the video card driver, black screen
