So I'm looking into a PSU for my CM 541 that will replace my stock cm PSU. I've heard that modular PSU's clean up the inside of a case a fair bit because you can take cables that you don't need off. I'm looking at a modular psu because with all the cables coming from my current PSU, it makes airflow uber crap. What should key features should I look for in a modular PSU?

Either get a corsair (only a few are moduler) or get a silverstone DA (there 100% moduler and thats what i want )

There advantages are that you only use what you need instaed of having them all hanging down in a hube messy bundle.

I've been using the Corsair HX520 for a year now, and it's great. Quiet, stable, great modular cables. I'll never use a non-modular model again.

I second the Corsairs. The HX line is modular, not sure about the rest. The Corsairs are made by Seasonic, and their (Seasonic's) M12 line is also very good.

Same exact features you would look for in a non-modular PSU: quality, amount of power on the +12V rail, delivery of power, efficiency, noise, warranty, etc etc. The only major difference between a modular and non-modular PSU is that the modular PSU has removable cables. That's it. For all intents and purposes, modular PSUs are the same as non-modular PSUs.

You can't really go wrong with the HX520. Great power supply, proven time and time again (hence why the Corsair power supplies seem to be the only ones that are mentioned at this kind of level).
