I was wondering if anyone was planning on appointing mods to the new VIA forum soon to keep the forum under control, clean up some of the old threads, and stickie the FAQs like needs to be done.

Also, is there anyone writing rules for the forum yet or is that something that needs to be done. I can get on that if it needs to be done still.

 
Kyle is overseeing the new forum at the present time. When there is a need for a moderator, one will be installed. The forum is a trial run of sorts right now and permanent protocol has not been established yet.
 
Ok, thats cool. Should I write up rules anyways or leave it be for now until it is permenant?

 
rules or a guide/faq type thing? The rules should be left up to kyle IMO, but there are plenty of faqs etc made by people other than mods, so I think you should feel free to make a faq type thread. Then email kyle with a link and ask for a sticky. ;)
 
Well, here's a tip for ya... people who have been "written up" in their user notes for publicly advocating piracy are seldom invited to be moderators here. ;)
 
What problems are happening in this forum anyways? The only thing I really see is one guy asking a random motherboard question. A short description somewhere to note that they are talking about EPIA boards and C3/C7 processors might help, just so people don't think it means anything based on a Via chipset, but I don't see any problems.
 
There are none yet, he was just asking if there were going to be mods appointed. The forum is in a test run mode and Kyle is overseeing the forum atm.
