Moding XBOX 360 to run internal on PC

[Kraylon]

Hey Guys, i just bought an XBOX 360 HD-DVD drive and in my search to find if there was a way to mod it to be an internal drive on my PC instead of an external, i found this post at AVS forums.

Since its a little hard to read, i decided to do a quick HTML file so you can see text with Pics. All credit goes to original poster at AVS forums.

I am curious if anyone has seen this or tried it and has gottent this to work. I noticed there are about 5 more drives on ebay and they are much cheaper than buying an xbox 360 drive... ALTHOUGH...with all the free HD-DVD movies i got/getting.... eh what would i really be saving except that this drive would be internal instead of external.

Still i am curious.

i think some have used them internal or buy the ebay ones that are just the drive. Missing the face plate makes some not want to use it like that though.

Ok, I got really interested that someone actually put the whole 360 in their computer, not just the HD drive.
