I'm a complete newb when it comes to moding.

I want to run 2 power supplier for my rig. How would you go about doing this? I happened to see this connector this morning on tomshardware:

http://www.tomshardware.com/cpu/20040920/index.html (Last Picutre at the bottom)

Where could I find one of these? Could I just start the 2nd power supply using the back switch?

Also for those who have run 2 power supplies are there any problems associated with the 2 power supplies not starting exactly at the same time.

I would have 1 power supply power the mobo and have the 2nd for hd/cd and 6800 ultra. What would happend if I power the 2nd before the 1st? Would it make a difference? Can I fry something doing this?

well for the 2nd one u could probly put a switch on the front, so hit the main one first then right after the 2nd one, and put a paperclip in the 2 holes in the 2nd one (forget which)

that way whenever the 2nd one i son it provides power

just a thought
