Any body know anything about this, besides it's insane price tag. I'm sure there's at least one person here who's used it before or at least knows some one who has.

How is it greater than a reciever with component outputs or hdmi outputs which are still cheaper than it.

Thats what I'm asking. The only thing I can find is that it converts component signals to DVI.

It doesn't really sound like you are asking anything to me. "know anything about this" is extremely generic. So the real question is what are you trying to achieve? I assume you have some need of a video switcher but give us some background so we can better offer our advice. Inputs you have vs. the output(s) you need.
