Ok..this is my first post to a forum...EVER..I am building my first pc and have a question about the fans that came with the case, they are Adda fans 120mm by 25mm. Is the 25mm the thickness, I see 120mm by 25mm and 120 by 38mm fans and am considering SilenX fans. Anyone have any advice on this?

Second question...being that I haven't built a pc or even looked in a while I was thrilled to see how many things you can get that light up or glow or just wow you. I purchased a Coolermaster RealPower 550w (non-sli version for $54 with rebate) and was surprised that the fan was faced down in my case. Is that correct? What's the point of the nice lights faced towards the ground? Any suggestions on modding that PSU?

Many thanks..

The fan on the PSU faces down so that it "sucks" up the air in and then out. Dont turn it around or mod it, it can cause overheating and if you try to mod it, you could kill yourself.

SilenX are nice, but overpriced, what country are you in? Look for some YATE LOON fans.

I would reccomend reading some threads here mate. You will get a good understanding on how to get the most out of your PC.

Nice case choice by the way.

Thanks for the reply..

I'm in the USA, Austin, Texas...
I've not read or heard of the Yate Loon fans at all. I liked the design and 14db of the SilenX fans which are pricier than other fans but seem to have really ultra low noise. I want a nice chrome looking one for the back and a lit one for the front. Thanks for the Kudos on the case. It is stunning and will be used as a media center case...it's huge though!!. For further modding, I bought the Thermaltake Hardcano13 and am looking at the Thermaltake medialab I was considering the CoolerMaster Musketeer 3 with the vacuum tube.

Any recommendations on a PSU, my next one will need to be SLI capable...

Thanks again!!

how do you get that little signature at the end of your post with you system components listed?

"User CP" up top and then "Edit Signature" is the first option Under "Settings & Options".

I'll go ahead and reccomend the Antec Neopower 550w SLI
But basically, any PSU with the SLI logo will do you good, as their are very few generic PSUs out there that qualify for SLI...

As for the signatures, go to user CP, and click edit signature...
