Not too sure what to do with these...i was thinking of making the thing with the fans a housing for a heatercore, and the metal box a pump-res in one system. the fans on that thing are LOUD AS HELL, i havent tried them but ive been told that theyre like an air conditioning. the other thing is a power module that puts out all kinds of volts. the fans are 48v which might be a problem (OK, is a problem, but I can deal). theyre all from a fibre optic cab my college was throwing out, sans modules. the other guy has 5 of the whole cabs and convinced me to get these.

i was also looking at the box and realized I could probabily fit a res, pump, and rad in there. the rad might be a problem because its too skinny for the normal heatercore, but too big for the dual bonnevilles. it has a fan however which seems like itd go to waste if it wasnt used. i was thinking of incorporating it into my next mod so that it could be 'optionally' watercooled, with quick release clamps in the case.

suggestions besides what I said?

that looks like a slot one cooler. If I were you I would put it on a pentium II 233 w/ 66fsb and overclock. Try to get it to 500mhz!

oh uh, its not clear, but those are about 160mm fans ;)

anyway, anyone have any ideas? im thinking of cleaning up the thing with the fan, trying to figure out how to power em, and putting them on top of my case, replacing the fans already there, and putting a dual heatercore in it. ill try to get a mockup when I get home

HAHAHA I just looked up the stats on these fans:

NMB Fan
235 cfm - 48vdc
5920PL-07W-B49
NMB 5 blade plastic fan. DC brushless. Ball-bearings. 5-wire speed sensor. Aluminum frame construction. 28-58 vdc, .45 amps, 54dB. 5.9" x 6.8" oval, 2" deep

DAMN THEM for being 48 volts.
