Modding my Lian Li PC65!

Hello hello..

One year ago I bought myself a Lian Li PC65 chassi, but today im little tired of it..
So I want to modd it! :)

Today, inside my chassi looks like this:

So, what do you guys suggest me to do?

Flip those hard drives around so the cables connect toward the front of the case. It'll make your computer look much cleaner.

That was an easy advice, it makes it so much cleaner ;)
 
You could try a WTX job (flip mobo tray upside-down). not really a "mod", per sey, but it would look different. Or maybe you could paint it. Other than that, I can't really think of anything. Over-modding a Lian-Li is just short of murder! :p Besides, they dont really need it.
 
I want to do "clean" modifications, not modd it til' it's nothing left :)

I have been thinking about buying a new lianli-part, without a window.., but a part of my head says its not good :p
 
clean the wiring up and cut out a nice 120mm blowhole on top
sleeve any visible wires and use stealth drive covers for your optical drives
put a PSone LCD or something cool in your 3.5 bay space

lots of possibilities
 
yeah, slit up those IDE's annd make rounded cables outta them.
my first mod was cutting a hole in the top of the case (actually 2) and i installed 2 fans there, but thats not uber exciting.
maybe work with that big (what looks like a Zalman) and the window case. maybe you can do something there. and round up and sleeve your PSU wires.
and a cathode at the top wouldn't be such a bad idea.
 
and if you want to clean up those wires, here is a great mod you should do
cut a hole in top of of the motherboard tray to run your wires through

this system has a NeoPower in it, so there aren't very many cables, but you can see how it helps with the routing

I used that rubber molding from the front around the inside to keep the edge from cutting the wires
