Modding my Big typhoon?

I heard that the big typhoon can be modded to provide even better cooling. Can anyone who knows about physically modifying a big typhoon explain how to do it, what it does, and post pics if they can?
 
I'm not sure if this was what you were thinking about, but if you take the fan off, you can put a 3/4 inch rectangle of foam at two corners by the heat sink which supposedly will give an extra 2 degrees of cooling. I did it when I first got my BT, but never compared temps before and after so I'm not sure if it did anything!

any heatsink can be LAPPED. and no base of any heatsink is machined well even on cpu's the heatspreader is not flat. that being said, if you lapp, you will lower your temp by lapping your heatsink. you can do the cpu too but at your own risk. i did mine check link for pics :D
