i have an mx518 and i have really big hands, i want to make the back of the body bigger to support the back of my hand so that my wrist is coming in contact with the desk and not my palm. Would rouphing it up and adding bondo to the back accomplish this without falling apart later?

depends on how much you use i guess.. also you got a pretty round surface there, so i'm not sure how mechanically well it would stay.

I widened my mx510 (thumb side) with bondo and it worked well.. I drilled holes in the thumb depression and roughened up the surface as well as I could, I applied the bondo in coats, sanding down between coats to make sure there weren't any giant air pockets.
