Hello, I just got a Linksys WPC54G wireless notebook card and was wondering if anyone has tried to add some sort of external anntenae to it to increase its range. I did a quick google search and a search of this forum and did not find any answers.

If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

Also if this card is not easily modded is there a cheap alternative card with the ability to mod an anntenae.

If you want an external antenna you should have just got an Orinoco or one with a port. I have a Dell that's an Orinoco on the inside. It has the port for an external antenna. Search ebay.
