ive had my koolance for a while now but never modded it. its all stock. i tried to search but i guess it's not working.

just need some ideas on what i can do to the thing to spice it up. window? uv? new case? change leds? i dunno. i was also thinking about taking all the guys out and adapting it into a acylic case.

Windows are nice, with windows will come some much needed wiring I assume. You should create something totally unique on your case to make it stand out, like super glue a snorkel to it.. with a ccfl inside it.. thats a good one.. hehe gl

what would be really cool if someone just didnt have a case at all. just left all the parts connected to eachother on the floor. that would own.

there was somone selling replacement LED displays for the coolance if you want to change it from red to blue also...

dont remember the site tho

Frozen has my direct permission. Mark and Stan are aces as far as Im concerned.

So anyway, I know that dude on Ebay doesn't have this, and you might need it. Simple directions for installation.

remember, this is not the board, rather just the LED module. Get your soldering iron hot :p
i appreciate that STRESSTEST, thank you. :) now where to find a couple 5mm blue LEDs for cheap, hmm...

thanks for the replies. kinda sucks that thats all i can do lol. but im thinking of throwing the whole setup into an acrylic case. the face of the koolance is just fugly.

acrylic cases are really nice to look at. I always recommend some custom black paint in combination with tint. You can pretty much do anything you want with acrylic. I think my next case will be acrylic SFF

i replaced my fans in my koolance with the coolmaster riifle bearing LED fans.. no real mod but they light up like beacons off the case.. i can also run them full 12v and they sound quieter then the orignal at the "low" setting..

what were your temp differences with the fans? ill bet the original ones push more cfms. anyone know the stats on the original exos fans?

no diffrence... cfm doesnt matter much with these cases.. they have a built in high and low setting.. adjusting that doesnt even make a diffrence.. just as long as some air is blowing thru their happy
