CPU (Computer Power User) had a article this month about applying 2 10k ohm potentiometers as a voltage mod to the card.

With overclocking (using power strip & voltage bump in bioswith a aftermarket cooler) they were able to get the card to 422mhz clock speed and 380 mhz ram speed

any other success with this mod? Seems simple enough and the guide is pretty indepth.
 
that is pathetic.

I have that card and can go to almost 475 with just the artic cooler...no other mods.

I don't think this mod is worth it.. I've done the same thing to my 9600pro, and it made no difference to my overclock.. modding my card was fun and it looks cool, but that's about it.. ;)
