Ive seen a couple of posts before asking about modders mesh... and Ive found the perfect affordable local source for everyone... WALMART!
No, its not where you might expect it to be... my particular Walmart had a really nice mesh trashcan next to the school supplies. I want to say it was a "small" honeycomb pattern, but I could be wrong... it mightve been round. If not near the school supplies look around where they have stackable shelves, because there are also shelves made from the same material and they all seem to be a "set" and were placed near each other. There had to be at least 2-4 square feet of it, and the can was only 6$. Very nice, they had chrome and black.
Could EASILY be cut were the seam is and flattened out. You could also use the bare metal sheet on the base for a fangrill or something... its a round piece of aluminum about 10 inches in diameter.
