Hi, this is my Modded case.

I named it The Coffin because of the color, the size, and...because it so heavy that you think you're carring a dead man inside :D


notice that the pictures were taken with a Sony Ericsson W300.. so the quality isn't the best :(

Nice!! That is a huge case, but you did a great job modding it. I would add a media card reader, you have enough open bays. Other than that, again, very nice case.
 
Nice work! Small suggestion: Can you illuminate the grille? Multicolor maybe?
 
looks pretty sweet, i would hate to carry it anywhere though!

I hope you don't have any cats that might try to go through the "cat door" (aka blowhole) on the front.

If you do have a cat you should put cat nip inside and get a video of him walking into the fan, then post it here for all of us to enjoy....

I do have a question though, what on earth had happened to it once you got it off your mate? Is that fire damage? D:

Looks like a paint job gone wrong. Same thing happened to me when I tried using Krylon Fusion on an old CRT...
 
That front panel looks awesome! Although, as has been said, you should put some sort of protection on that intake fan, that's an accident waiting to happen. :p
 
Whats the case brand/ model name do you know?
or just a random case you found?

Well done , classy mod. the intake fan looks nice, cover it if you want to but i'd say leave it exposed. i like the switch next to the power button, it makes it look more industrial. really nice shape for the window. the dragon looks amazing in the pics

Quite simple...

Choose the pattern you'll use in the window (ex: the dragon I used) and print it
There are a couple methods to transfer the design onto the acrylic.
What I did was printing the dragon inversed, so it would look to the right in the paper. then placed the paper under the acrylic and drawed it with a dremel. don't make the drawing too deep, just barely scratch the surface.


once the drawing is finished, drill some holes in the side of the acrylic big enough to fit a LED inside

I would recomend connecting the leds in paralel

The only tutorial I found is in portuguese, but the pictures are quites selfexplained :D

i really like the fan in the front. slick job on the front panel as a whole also, is that custom rolled/folded diamond steel?
