This is wierd; I got a FDD off newegg, forget which kind, doesnt matter. Load it up into the computer (mounted in the case) mobo doesnt recognize it. So I run over to microcenter, buy another one, dont put it into the case, mobo recognizes it in windows and I can access it. Load it up into the case, poof, gone. Says insert a disk into drive a no matter what.Whats going on? Im goin crazy :(

Hehe...well i just found out what the problem was. Lord am I a dumbass. The new v1000 cases come with the floppy bezel preinstalled all you do is hook up your regular floppy behind it. Well me being the genius I am didnt give the drive enough room for the tab to pop out, essentially meaning the disk was in the drive but in a constant state of ejection :)

I GOT OWNED BY MY FLOPPY DRIVE BEZEL W00T!

heh, I wish I woulda read that before I went through all the trouble...oh well, you live you learn :D Its funny cause with this build its been all the damn little things that have been getting to me; first the floppy, then I was miffed when the computer wouldnt connect to the internet, so Im thinking great, bad mobo :/ But no...apparently the only thing TimeWarner teaches their tech support is power cycling the modem. Which worked. J()DYU*$(H$HSDNOCN heheheh...
