mobo tray adventure

how is that a mobo tray adventure? all i see is a pre modded lian-li and a rheobus
 
you didnt see a hole in the mobo tray? ... you didn't think it was funny that the cause of it all was a damn usb cable?

ummm... how am i a troll? there is a a hole in the mobo. what is it for, maybe some details as to why you hacked a hole in the mobo?

hey you do know that it is common practice to run the watercooling for like a few hours or maybe even a hole day to asure no leaks this still requires you to take the stuff out of your case. now when i first clicked through i dint read so i just figured that you were trying to cool the backside of the processor. since i've read all i see is that you cut a hole in the mobo tray to save time even though you still need to take everything out. the whole usb thing is you stupidity and carelessness. compslckr maybe a troll but your are a DUM dumbass

i explain that the system will be OUTSIDE my current case...
I'm building an acryllic enclosure for it... therefor when leak testing, I will NOT have to remove everything from the case.

and yes I know how to leak test water setups... This is NOT my first one by any close measure. Just the first one for use on this particular system.

the WATERBLOCK and hoses will EVENTUALLY be inside my case... but NOT UNTIL A LEAK TEST OUTSIDE the system has been done...

with a hole in the back of my motherboard tray.... why in the hell would I need to remove all of the components... when I am going to leak test the COMPLETED water system OUTSIDE... and simply bolt on the block via the access hole I just created?!?!?!?!??!

*sigh* that was the WHOLE point. what part of this do you NOT understand????!!!! If you are not going to make sense... I wouldnt be calling someone else a dumbass.
 
i understood what you were trying to accomplished i never said i didn't. most people to my understanding put their system(water cooling) together in the case and run for a while to insure no leaks then they put the computer compontents in. this way the dont have to take any of the tubing conection apart after they test. my geuss (from what you are saying) is that you will cut ahole in the to under the radator thing your building on top, so you can get the tubing with the proc block (still attach from the testing process). if this is right then im sorry for missunderstanding you. i figured that you would have ran the tubes through the back requiring you to mount the proc block on the inside of your case, and negating your hole test

and actually, I won't need to cut a hole... my lian li has a pull-out motherboard tray... and I can pull it back, cut notches for the hoses in the back of the tray, clamp on the block...

then slide the tray/hoses/block back into the case together. :)

no.

i actually find it very irrelevant to the fact that you cut a hole in your mobo tray. It's a good idea, none-the-less. My HSF would benefit from the same thing, sense it bolts down to the four holes as well. But i have a feeling this mod would have been done regardless of the USB cable.

how's that for trolling? :) ;)
