Mobo sys fan header question.

I have 4 Cooler Master R4 120mm fans. Can a typical motherboard sys fan header handle that many? I really don't like any of the speed fan controllers out there so If I can control the fans through the fan header, that would be ideal.
 
Check your MoBo manual and see how many amps the header is good for, most are between .75A and 1.0A.

+1, also make sure your mobo can undervolt fans and not just PWM, as the R4's are just your normal 3pin fans.
