Mobo quick question

ok so im going z68 chipset i5 2500k.
Is there really any HONEST difference speed wise between teh 200 dollar boards and teh midrange 120-150 boards?
Its all going to be stock.

If you're not going to overclock I wouldn't bother with a K version cpu.
