I Installed widows xp on my new mobo. After turning my computer on and off or restarting it keeps asking for boot disk, even though I was just working properly. Only way i can get in is if I go through xp setup, reinstall or repair option. It wont load properly also it wont detect my slave drive. Please Help!

Sounds like your mobo bios info keeps getting wiped. Manually set the slave drive settings in bios and make sure your boot order is correct. Otherwise you may have a virus that keeps trashing your mbr.

you installed new WINXP on a MOBO? how can you do that? you mean you install new WINXP on an HDD.
Anyways, go to BIOS and select the proper boot device, this happens (always) after you install windows and took out the boot disk and boot device is still set as CD-ROM and you disbale any other boot device. GO to BIOS and pick your HDD as your first boot device.
