My ASUS P8Z68-V has an 8-pin socket marked EATX12V. Four of the sockets are
square - the other 4 are rounded.
My Antec 480 PSU has two plugs marked CPU - each has 4-pins. One has 2 square
and two rounded - it will fit into the EATX12V socket. But, the other plug has 4 rounded pins and does not match the socket on the mobo. The Antec instructions say "connect the 8-pin or the 4-pin connector for the CPU." But, there is no 8-pin plug.
My question - should I only use one 4 pin plug - or what is expected in the 8 sockets on the motherboard?
