Mobo or PSU issue?

So my computer's about a year and a half old now. Specs are as follows:

i7-920 (used to overclock it but not anymore)
6GB RAM
Radeon 4830
Corsair 750TX
Gigabyte UD3R

So my problem is that every few days the computer will shut down randomly and then go into a cycle of starting up and shutting down in quick succession. Sometimes it will break out of this loop on its own and start up normally after a while, other times I have to unplug the power and wait for an hour or two before it will start up again. Sometimes I'll push the power button and nothing will happen at all.

Any ideas?

I would run your usual battery of tests to see if you can stress it to do it, i.e. prime95/memtest etc.

Maybe try checking for any shorts on your board. Try disconnecting the reset switch and see if the problem goes away.
