Mobo LED Conflicts

My abit nf7-s has an extremely bright red (and not as bright) green LED lights. They seem to be drowning out the rest of the color scheme I have recently setup. Is there any safe way to mask these led's? I was thinking electrical tape, but I just wanted to double check before I did anything.
 
my suggestion is get a resistor on it.. its a 123 job..

edit: or if u can make them parallel or in series.. i forgot which of those two will make them
share the voltage..

edit#2: wait a sec areu talking about the led's on mobo? if u are, i have only 1 solution. there are caps u place on led's so the light goes to 1 direction but it can be made to be masked just as easily..

I know what you're talking about. I just put some tape over mine and have had no problems. don't use any more than you need though.
