Mobo failing, looking to replace

I am looking to replace my failing motherboard. Sadly, I cannot build a new system (due to money issues), so I'm just replacing the part that's been failing.

My CPU is an i5-2500K (socket 1155), so I'm looking for a good mobo for it. My current rig has an ASUS P8Z68-V Pro, but I can only find those used on the net.

Any suggestions that are comparable to what I have? I don't overclock or anything, so I might not even need something comparable. Just need SATA III support and the ability to use my R9 390.

I guess the question is, get a refurb with Z77 chipset (ASUS P8Z77-M for $60), or new with Z75 (ASRock Z75 Pro3 for $85). I would think the Z77, since it has Intel Smart Response Technology, and since I run 2 SSD's, I would think that would be good to have. Thoughts?

The better board is the less expensive one. Besides, the "new" board is several years old now. I don't see a reason to buy the ASRock over a refurbished board.

Looks like most of the decent refurbs listed on 3btech aren't avaialble.

Any other retailers selling decently prices refurbs?
