Is there anywhere that I can find a diagram/blueprint of atx/matx mobos that are actual size? So I could just print out the diagram put it on a piece of metal and drill out the needed holes?

'atx spec' in google

Don't know if it gives actual size, but you can always take the info and draw one of actual size and then print it out. Visio, or cad, both expensive. Or you could take an existing mb tray and trace out the mounting holes on a piece of trace paper, then use it to mark and drill fresh metal.

I was hoping for actual size because I don't have any cad software or a mobo tray to trace. If I have to I can draw my own on paper, but I was hoping someone had a link to actual size prints.

Well... you could use the actual motherboard. plop it down and mark through the existing mounting holes. it would be a custom fit. Would be an issue to make sure it was in the right position though, assuming you want it to be in a case and have the io panel set properly.

edit: oh yeah, i guess thats what ring.of.steel was getting at.

Why dont you measure a mobo?

Its in a pc that is running at the moment, thats why I want to find a diagram so I don't have to pull the mobo out and unhook everything. Like I said before if I have to I can make my own diagram, but would much prefer if someone had a actual size diagram that I could print out.

When did reading a spec and using a ruler become difficult?

Since when did this become the Spanish inquisition? Seriously I asked if anyone knows where to get actual size drawings of atx/matx layouts. Not to be questioned why I am not drawing my own.

Thanks pevo for helping I'll try to blow it up to the right size.

Thanks pevo, i think im going to keep this for my own reference if i was ever to need it. would save me digging through threads in 2 years time.
