This May I'm looking to upgrade my mobo/cpu.
Currently I am running:
ASRock 939 DualSata2
AMD64 3200+ Venice
2GB GSkill

I am looking at around a 1000$ budget and want to get the most bang for my buck. It will be a gaming machine to play Vanguard, Age of Conan, and Warhammer(mmo). Intel seems to be pulling ahead of processing speeds from AMD so Intel is my choice of processor. Been looking at the Core2 Duo's. What would you recommend set up with a core2duo, mobo, and ram for 1000$
 
Everything else is pretty much new.
x1950xt Sapphire PCIe16
650w Aerocool PSU
250gb SATAII hdd (brand eludes me)
