hey everyone, im trying to decide on a mobo and would really appreciate any suggestions or comments.

i wanted a board for some pretty hard gaming with an a64 754 pin platform... and for ocing as well, but want something thats great as stock also. stability and reliability is a must! would love it if its a great long term board that wont die out on me too early.

nvidia nforce3 250gb chipset or the via? and if via, which one? differences?

would it be better if i used my current pci network adapter or the onboard stuff from the mobo?

ive thought about the dfi lanparty ut nf3 250gb and the asus k8n-e deluxe... are there any other boards out there that i should consider? if so, how do they differ? performance wise and features? please name them.

if i do get the dfi board, should i use my sound blaster live 5.1 or the onboard sound? i have a generic 2.1 sound system sooo the channels dont really matter to me. but sound quality? over consumption of system resources?

as i have said earlier, any other recommendations different from above would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for reading. :)
