Mobo/Case Fitment Question.

Hi Guys,

I am re-housing my old rig into a new case for my son.

I am having a bit of trouble confirming if my old mobo:

Gigabyte GA-Z771-UP7 https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z77X-UP7-rev-10#ov

Will fit inside this Phanteks P300 Case http://www.phanteks.com/Eclipse-P300-TemperedGlass.html

Case mentions that E-ATX boards up to 275mm width will fit, mobo manufacturers site says mobo is 30.5cm x 26.4cm.

What exactly do they classify as the 'width'?

It will fit just fine. The dimensions are length x width, where length is measured as the distance along the edge of the board on the same side as the rear I/O connectors (see image), and width is the distance along the top. (E)ATX has a standard length of 305mm (12in).

check the width but it should be fine.
I have the 350x and am pretty happy with it. hdd bay is a bit annoying but it works. what really chapped my ass about it is the price of another ssd caddy, its 1/3 of the case price in CAN.
