mobo bios questions

okay in my mobo, i got a asus p4c800-e-deluxe. in the bios for overclocking. the voltages are set to automatic. what does that mean? do the voltages increase if the part needs it. i.e. cpu or ram? im just confused. cuz it doesnt tell me the current voltages. it just says automatic. and if i wanna overclock, i would like to see how high i can go. not too high but 3.6 atleast. but i need to adjust voltages. i duno what they are currently at. and my ram. i got pc3200 mushkin ram. how could i oc those along with the processor? in the bios it only lets me adjust it from 200mhs to 266 mhs or something. i forget. im at school so ill check back later for any replies. thanks alot.
