Me too. I'm already dual booting Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.04 on my AAO.

It runs like HELL in Virtual PC on my mian rig below. I might install it to my 'fun' partition on my AAO. I only wonder if it is going to over-write my boot manager. I hate GRUB and other linux managers...
Probably will.
Thats why with Linux on my AAO I stick to WUBI. No messing with boot loaders but still get to truly dual boot. http://wubi-installer.org/

But can I install Moblin with wubi?
No. Only the Ubuntu flavors. Sorry if I was misleading.
Dammit. Yeah, I want to try this as well but I'm really not into messing with grub at the moment. This needs a LiveCD to play with.
I can't get anywhere on that site right now.
I've currently got W7 RC1 and XP installed on my Samsung NC10. W7 feels much slower and gets far less battery life than XP. I'm not sure if it's because the W7 installation's so new, Aero, or perhaps W7's just a hoss for a netbook.

That's odd. Win Vista and 7 both feel snappier than XP on my AAO. Even before the upgrades.

Well, let me say this, running it in a VM is probably 1/8th the speed of how it runs on my netbook. This thing is pretty darn fast.
The web browser is SICK. It has great animations that make the UI feel very smooth and polished. It's also minimalistic while not shrinking the buttons too much at all. Moblin also includes a minefield build but it does not have all of the plug-ins (flash) that the built-in webkit browser does. IN addition, the default browser does not seem to have any bookmark ability. It does have a speed-dial like new tab page, but no bookmarks... hrm...
The IM client is ok, though it only supports google talk, salut and jabber. Would like to see AIM on there. ALso, there is no facebook support, only twitter (which I hate) and last.fm (which I have never used, though I might try now).
Also, It's nice to see that it interacts with some free syncing services, though my favorite (dropbox) is not on there. It can use Funambol, Memotoo, Schedule wizard and Synthesis.
The media browser that aggregates music, photos and video is flawless, to say the least. I will have to load some movies to really test it, but the included videos ran very well, though that's to be expected, I guess. I will be happy when playlists are supported.
One thing that was done brilliantly was the idea of Zones. Basically, each app opens in its own Zone, which seems like it's own desktop. Switching between zones is pretty easy (they have their own menu in the toolbar), and it keeps things manageable on smaller netbook screens.
Several areas, like the browser settings button, lead to pages saying that there is more content incoming through the beta process. Hope to see some of this stuff addressed.
