mobility 9700 stats

i was using atitool to check out the stats for my mobility radeon 9700, and it said that 4pipelines were operating. is this right? i know that the desktop 9700 had 8 pipelines, and i guess it makes sense that the mobile part wouldnt be as high performance for power and heat issues (but isnt a 4 pipe r300 a 9500?). i thought id ask

the mobility 9700 is the equivalent of the desktop Radeon 9600XT, not the 9700 Pro. ATI decided to call the part mobility 9700 to help differeniate it from the other 9600's (9600, 9600 Pro, 9600 Pro Turbo) and because it doesn't use overdrive.
