Hey,

I just purchased one of these and was wondering if it would be possible to use it with my Inspiron 9200? It has a Mobility 9700 and a DVI output, but I noticed onthe ATI site it said it supports upto 1600x1200 - am I out of luck?
 
Heh, I'm using 2405 on a laptop off a intel graphix via VGA, and it works... sometimes :D
 
The Apple laptops with 9700 are able to drive their 30" 4megapixel displays. Nobody elses 9700 can do dual link DVI but at the least, you should be able to do 1920x1200.
 
Only the new apple powerbooks with the 9700 128mb can drive the 30". And powermacs with with the highend nvidia cards. I was thinking of getting one but was highly dissapointed when I found out it's not for pc or my older powerbook with 9700 64mb.
