Quick question on using ATi's mobile drivers on a dell laptop. Do I have to use the 'special' dell ones of their website? Or is it possible to just use the ones on ati's website?

TIA

Hmm, well since no-one replied I take it they either are disgraced by the low-end card or simply don't know ;)

I'll maybe try posting this in the mobile section of the forum later...

Should work fine with the ones from ATi's website.

Given that it's not onboard, and it's actually a seperate device.

The setup will complain about the mobile chipset, you will have to install the drivers manually but you can use the ones from the setup package. I have an X600 and I install them fine, granted I have to point Windows in the right direction.
