mobile wire trick?

why do you have to do this wire trick can't you just change bus speed in the Bios?

Yea you can , though I believe this will cause yoru CPU to run at say 200fsb default opposed to 166. I think all you have to do is take some telephone wire or soemthing and make a U shape out of them , then put them into the appropriate holes on your socket. I did the same wire trick to change my vcore so I could get higher.
