Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
My wife has a Toshiba Laptop that has the Intel Pentium 4 Mobile 538 3.2Ghz... when I looked at it with CPUz it shows it as 18XX.X so 1.8Ghz... whats up with that? LoL
why would you want to? it makes the laptop run cooler, quieter, and get MUCH better battery life. it doesn't affect performance at all...it only throttles down when it's idle. anyway, if for some wacko reason you want to disable it you can usually do it through the bios and/or through the laptop's power management software. But there's no reason to disable it.
